Our Story
How we met, where we've been, and where we are going....
John and Lauren met back in 2001 and absolutely hated each other. Lauren thought John was a huge jerk and couldn't stand to be around him. .
Over the next few years John and Lauren actually became best friends. They were always together driving around in John’s mustang, going to party’s, or just hanging out with friends. John always looked out for Lauren through High School. He was there to mend her broken heart and a shoulder for her to cry on. Lauren was always making sure John stayed out of trouble, even doing his homework for him so he would pass his class!
After John graduated High School in 2003, the two remained great friends. John was there in 2004 as his best friend graduated from High School. A short time later John told Lauren (through a text message) that he wanted to be more then "best friends". Lauren told him they could try and take it from there. At that time things did not work out. Lauren and John lost all contact for one year.
In June of 2005 the two ran into each other at a gas station, and they both knew then and there. Everything happens for a reason.....
In 2008 John and Lauren were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lilah Annette Moreno. They enjoy every moment of parenthood.
On Lauren's 23 birthday (September 17 2009) John took her to a very nice restaurant called "Las Brisas" in Laguna Beach, CA. It was right next to the beach. After a delicious dinner John took Lauren for a walk on the beach, and as the waves were crashing behind them John got down on one knee and asked Lauren to be his wife. Of course, she said yes!
Our Wedding
John and Lauren will be getting married on the 11th of September 2010 at the Historic Mission Inn in Riverside, California. The ceremony will be held at 5:30pm. With the reception to follow.

John and Lauren have made arrangements for their guest to be able to stay at The Mission Inn the weekend of their wedding (9-10/9-11) for a special price. You can book for one night, or two.
